Love Story

Hi, I'm Amanda and this is my blog.
I wanted to start out with a little about me.
I'm from a very small town in Alabama.
Chicken houses every where, no mall, I'm talking small people!
Naturally I'm more of a "city" person, but I wouldn't change where I grew up for the world!
I mean, I grew up playing hide&seek in barns full of hay bales and spent days playing in the woods.
So I was a little bit of a tomboy when I was little.

I've always had a sense of adventure.
I admit that I get a little excited when the power goes out or we get snowed in.
I'm always up for something fun!
Roller coasters, anyone?

Anyways,
When it was time for college I chose to attend Auburn University.
This is where I met Jordan.
Sweet, equally adventurous and fun-loving Jordan!

We met here.
Jordan-Hare Stadium.
(It actually wasn't a football game, though).

A couple months later we began dating.
I'm not sure if I'm a believer of "love at first sight", but I am a believer of "when you know, you know."

I mean we had everything in common!
I love Dr. Pepper, he loves Dr. Pepper.
I love roller coasters, he loves roller coasters.
where else but on a roller coaster, at Disney World?

More importantly, his love for Jesus was so apparently the #1 priority in his life.
Actually, when I asked him to tell me about himself, the first thing he said was
"The most important thing in my life is my relationship with Jesus Christ".

Girls, there is nothing hotter than that!

Of course there were a million other things that I loved about him!
I could go on and on!

We were engaged on New Years 2009 in a little cabin on Lake Guntersville.
I was astounded!

In the 11 months of planning our wedding, Jordan graduated with a degree in Aviation Management, and I finished all of my coursework before my internship. We also bought and began fixing up our home.

Our wedding was on November 21, 2009.

Now we are taking on this thing called the Real World.
We're learning a lot about each other along the way.

Some people say that we are the couple still in the "honeymoon stage" because we still act like we like each other.
We just like to be together.
Always have, always will.
